  • Three planters can be coupled together - up to 40-50,000 plants per day

  • No cultivation of area, plants can go straight into virgin ground

  • V plough in front of the machine

    • Adjustable depth

    • Scalps out seed - weed population, leaving clean area behind

    • Area collects water when it rains

    • No competition from other plants

  • Fertiliser injection with plants

Spacings

  • 1.2m x 3m = 1000 plants per acre

  • 1.5m x 3m = 860 plants per acre

  • 1.8m x 3m = 540 plants per acre

e.g. plants 1.2 m apart and rows 3m apart

Osmocote (Slow release Fertiliser)

This slow release fertiliser has proved to be a very important part of planting in saltbush trials conducted by Westerns and Horticultural Traders. This fertiliser that lasts for 8-9 months gives the plants every opportunity to get off to a strong healthy start.

There is no burning of any fine young roots which can occur with other fertilisers.

Treated areas can be grazed off within 12 months and plants grow at a more even scale.

Scotts-Agroblen slow release fertiliser is a proven success in the production of saltbush.

Planters transportable :

Planters can be moved to most locations in Australia.
