DeKock Oldman Saltbush

This seed is imported from South Africa. Initially oldman saltbush was introduced to South Africa in the late 1800's from Australia. In recent years noting the variability between plants, they began selecting for palatability and production, leading to the DeKock selection.

The nursery is situated in the Riverland of South Australia, in Waikerie.

The climate of this area assists in the production of hardy plants. The hot summers and the frosty winter mornings help to harden the plants for the field which gives us a very high success rate.
